 THE SWISS CHILDREN'S HOME PROJECT

PROJECT GOALS

The Swiss Children's Home project is located at Balahi in Northern Ghana,

West Africa. The project has the following aims:

To bring together needy children from the three Northern Region for the purposeful education

To provide education and protection to children from poor background, and avoid the vicious cycle of poverty.

To Save the Children of vulnerable girls from baby snatchers, which are common in our big cities.   

Provide education to Kayayei children of school going age

To curtail the menace of migration of girls from the northern part of Ghana to the south in search of non-existent jobs by offering them a stable childhood home in the North.

To promote cordial relations between Switzerland and Ghana including cultural exchange programs.

To link students across universities in Switzerland to volunteer for the building of the Swiss Children’s Home Project
